When disaster strikes, it can feel like your life has been turned upside down! Whether you experience a fire, a flood or vandalism in your home or office, we understand that this is a stressful time.
Learning to navigate through the insurance claim process is challenging. There are lots of people and companies involved. Adjusters, contractors, specialists – all trying to decide how best to address your needs…it can feel a little overwhelming.
We’re here to help.
Insurance claims professionals, fire and water restoration companies or homeowners often ask us to do an evaluation of damaged furniture and cabinets. Many pieces that appear to be damaged beyond repair are in fact repairable! This is especially important when it comes to family heirloom pieces or parts of larger sets like bedroom or dining room furniture.
In order to get started helping with an insurance claim we only need a few things;
- Your insurance carrier’s name
- Your claim number
- The name of your insurance claim adjuster
Be aware that often there are two separate claims adjusters involved with your loss – the Property Adjuster who deals with the structure of your home or office which includes cabinetry and the Contents Adjuster who deal with your possessions including furniture and all of your other belongings.
Understanding the insurance process, having experience working with adjusters and having outstanding repair technicians puts us in a great position to assist you. Our skilled professionals meticulously restore furniture, woodwork and other items to like-new condition after a loss.
With over 20 years’ experience working with homeowners and insurance professionals, we are here to assist you in getting your life back to normal. Our experience has allowed us to help a great many people and while we certainly hope that you never have a disaster of this nature, we are happy to help ‘make things right again’ afterward.
Please feel free to call or e-mail us and we will be glad to schedule time to do an evaluation for you.
